FOOTBALL

TBA: Dell Rapids (5-1 #2) hosts West Central (6-0 #1)
Football game of the week in the entire state will be taking place in Dell Rapids. Dell Rapids looks to continue a hot streak and hand a 2009 loss to West Central. West Central who beat a very good Minnesota team last week will likely bring the best to avenge a loss to Dell Rapids last season. Both teams will be ready to play, and the best of 11-A will come out on top.
7:00 PM: RC Stevens (4-3, #8) hosts Washington (7-0, #1)
The best team in South Dakota is traveling back West. It is the classic battle of the best of the East versus the best of the West. Stevens has struggled this season to a point, but they took one away from Lincoln last week and being at home could be enough to spell upset for Matt Hermanson and the Washington Warriors. However Washington blew out Spearfish last week, and likely will not have many issues with this week’s matchup. However if it was a guaranteed they wouldn’t play the game, so check it out if you are in Rapid City, it should be a great game!
7:30 PM: Aberdeen Central (7-0, #2) hosts Yankton (4-3, #7)
Game #2 in our game tracker features another 11-AA unbeaten versus another hungry 11-AA 4-3 team. Yankton will travel North with high confidence after unleashing their best against Huron last week, and will look to deliver a shot to the faithful in Aberdeen. However just like Washington, Aberdeen Central also came off a convincing win against Brookings last week, and are very focused on their path to an undefeated season.
TBA: Brandon Valley (6-1, #3) hosts Mitchell-Mitchell Christian (1-6)
While not the greatest looking game on paper, it’s the game that Coaches Aid will be attending as I will travel to go see Austin Sumner play for the first time all season. If you are in the Brandon or Sioux Falls area and not going to the O’Gorman or Roosevelt games, check out Austin Sumner who is having a special senior season at the quarterback position in Brandon Valley.
TBA: Harrisburg (4-2, #4) hosts Luverne, MN (5-1, ranked #6 in MN 11-AA)
South Dakota 11-A football will welcome another 11-AA Minnesota opponent this week and Harrisburg will be stepping up to try at pulling out a win. Quarterback Steven Miller will be calling the plays for the Harrisburg Tigers and he told Coaches Aid last week he ready for whatever Luverne can bring to the table.

7:00 PM: Watertown (12-4) hosts Aberdeen Central (13-1)
Aberdeen Central leads the Class AA division with 13 season wins so far and they will look to continue the pace against a good Watertown team. Watertown has won 7 of their last 8 matches, while Aberdeen Central is riding a 7 match win streak of their own. If you are in Watertown and not checking out their zoo, make sure you follow some of the best volleyball in the state tonight!
