2009 nov 19 St Mary's Natchitoches at Oak Grove

At Oak Grove this weekend, St Mary's Natchitoches (10-1) will be in town for the second round of the playoffs.  St Mary's has had an unbelievable season under first year head coach Charles Cryer.  Listen to the Coaches Aid audio interview of Coach Cryer on our front page (below the front page photo).  St Mary's won a one-point, 14-13 home game last week against Basile (6-5).

Oak Grove is 9-2 for the season and they are riding an eight game winning streak.  This should be one of the best games in the state for the second week of the playoffs.  Oak Grove handled Merryville (5-6) at home in the first round, 35-6.

    St. Mary's does not have to man power to keep up with OG in the 3rd and 4th quarter. They have 30 guys on their roster and OG has 58 I think. OG does not play anyone both ways. OG blows them up in the end of the 3rd quarter. 42-14 OG on top

    they barley got by the first round game in overtime. With the feild position
    they had in that first round game, and to have to win it in overtime. This
    second round game is the end for the Tigers.
