Week 4 Roundup

There were a lot of good games, and a lot of teams managed to stay unbeaten in Week 4 action around Illinois.
Using a two-quarterback rotation, Wheaton Warrenville South continued to come back from its lone loss at Maine South two weeks ago with a 24-8 win over visiting Naperville Central.

Mack Tracey started the game, but Reilly O'Toole played quarterback in some key third and fourth-down situations. Meanwhile, Julian Banuelos scored on a three-yard run at the end of a long first-quarter drive to get the Tigers on the board.
Shane Dierking had two interceptions for WWS in the game.
At Chicago's Gately Stadium, Addison Perry scored twice and Loyola Academy surprised Mount Carmel 28-15 in a Chicago Catholic Blue Division contest.
At Lincoln-Way East, the unbeaten host Griffins scored two touchdowns in 12 seconds late in the first quarter to start them on the way to a 42-7 win over previously unbeaten Lockport.
At Huntley, Woodstock’s Scott Rausch kicked a 27-yard field goal in the second overtime, and previously unbeaten Huntley lost a fumble on their possession to produce the difference in a 27-24 Woodstock win.
At Glenbard South, Geneva stayed unbeaten with a 26-24 win.
St. Charles North suffered its first loss in a 35-28 decision to Waubonsie Valley. Waubonsie quarterback Kenny Class rushed for one touchdown and passed for two more to lead the Warriors.
In Macomb, Orion raised its record to 4-0 with a 28-21 victory over the host Macomb Bombers. Orion quarterback James Matson threw three touchdown passes out of his 10 completions.
Brown County raised its record to 4-0 with a 55-0 win over the Illinois School for the Deaf. The Hornets have not been scored upon yet this season.
Lincoln Park moved up to 4-0 with a 28-12 win over Steinmetz, getting a key 18-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown by Elder Calderon.
Mikal McCall rushed for 251 yards on 15 carries with three touchdown as Thornridge went to 4-0 with a 32-24 win over Lincoln-Way West.
